Within the Care in the Home division, we support children with complex health needs to live at home with their families.

We'd like you to join us as a Children’s Support Worker with our young client in Crawley.


Meet the Client:

I would like to progress with my walking, becoming more independent. I would also like to work on my communication skills, with Makaton to allow me to communicate my wants and needs to others, and to socialize.


When you'll be working:

  • Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays
  • Mornings before school (7am-9am), Afternoons after school (2.30pm-6.30pm)
  • (In school holidays hours will change to 11am-5pm)
  • Alternate Sundays (10am-6pm)
  • 18-26 hours a week
  • Part Time

What you'll be doing:

This role is to support a 4 year old little boy with complex health needs, in his family home and escorting him to and from school. There will be a morning shift, in which you would get him ready for school and take him to school. Then there would be an afternoon shift, in which you would collect him from school and take him home and then support him in the family home.

You would be supporting this young client with all his needs; including washing, dressing, toileting, medication, moving and handling support and managing clinical equipment.

Full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.
