Loungefest is our annual staff party! For one day every year we close all our Cosy Clubs and put on a festival to celebrate our team’s hard work throughout the year. Think fairground rides, DJs, face painting, dance classes, free food and drinks all day.

The purpose of the AM to GM ‘Step Up’ programme is to provide Assistant Managers with some focused training and investment to help them in their journey to become great GMs in the future. The programme lasts 6 months with AMs attending 4 in person sessions.
In 2024, we expect nearly 150 AMs to join the programme.
The purpose of the Sous Chef to Head Chef ‘Step Up’ programme is to provide great Sous Chefs with some focused training and investment to help them in their journey to become great HCs in the future and hopefully continue progressing their careers within Loungers. The programme in total will take 5 months with Sous Chefs attending 5 half day courses.
In 2024, we expect nearly 30 SCs to join the programme.
A programme we have developed for 2024, this is for our Senior General Managers and Head Chefs preparing them for what to expect as an Operations Manager or Operations Chef at Lounge. Part of the course takes place in our Bristol HQ allowing them to get to know the right people at HQ as well as building a network of those at the same stage in their career.
In order to support everyone at all stages in their career we also run programmes for our senior leaders in the business.
